Obi Abata or four lobed kola nuts are an important part of the traditional spiritual practice of culture and religion in Nigeria. Kola nuts are used as religious objects and sacred offering during prayers, ancestral worship, and significant events, such as weddings and funerals. Obi abata with four lobes can be used in divination by casting them upon an Opon and the resulting patterns are read by an Ifa Priest.
